YouTubers In Tragic Car Crash: James Phyrillas Hospitalized, Brother & Best Friend Killed

Oof. Just heartbreaking. Youtube star James Phyllis saying goodbye to his beloved brother Patrick Phyrillas and friends Christopher Schaffer after a devastating car accident leaves two people dead.

On Sunday, all three were involved in a car accident in Pennsylvania, killing 22-year-old Patrick (right inset) and 25-year-old Chris (left inset). At Upper Macungie Police toward Lehigh Valley Live that a sedan traveling south attempted to cross Hamilton Boulevard and was struck by a commercial tractor-trailer traveling east. There is no traffic signal at the intersection, which is under construction. James is said to be the driver. According to Lehigh County Coroner’s Office, Patrick and Chris died of blunt force trauma head injuries. So tragic.

James survived after suffering several serious injuries. He was released from the hospital on Tuesday and taken to Twitter to break the silence in heartbreak. Age 25 years from:

“Home now after 3 days in the hospital, my ribs are broken, my lungs are rotten, my body is swollen, my heart is broken. Patrick and Chris were best friends. I’ve been trying to wrap my head around why it was saved. Where did I go from?”

We can’t imagine the pain he must be going through. It’s hard to lose a loved one in such a devastating situation, but surviving the accident and now dealing with survivor’s guilt makes the healing process even more difficult. James then stated:

“I could say many things about both. But the thought of doing so, especially in a public forum, made me cry uncontrollably.

Oof. There is no timeline for something like this.

Brothers and friends are famous in Schaffrillas production A YouTube channel, where he makes analysis videos, reruns of popular shows, and more. James hopes to learn lighthearted content to move forward in his quest to get through this dark time, he continued:

“Please understand that I need a sense of normalcy to live my days, so that I don’t lose hope. I believe they both want me to continue working.”

Patrick and Chris have recorded content that has not been released, which James plans to put out soon, giving him “one last” appearance on the channel. Celebrating his legacy will be his next focus, he shared:

“Anyone, I’ll think of a way to preserve their legacy, whether it’s charity or something. I owe them a lot, because I’m the only one who walked away unscathed.
