Shutterstock (2)He understood. Pink directing headlines about him and Christina Aguilera‘s alleged feud after she accidentally brought him back into the zeitgeist — and shared a message for the “Dirty” songstress.
“To Christina – you know where we stand. solved. Keep going and up,” wrote Pink, 43, via Instagram, Saturday, February 25.
The message came at the end of a lengthy post that included several criticisms and apologies after her and Aguilera’s decades-long feud made headlines.
“I’m saddened and disappointed by the narrative of some of the press I’ve had on the Trustfall album,” the “Stupid Girls” singer wrote at the start of a lengthy post. “While some of the responsibilities are on me and I can’t lie, and my ability is not there – the real disappointment is that art can’t be the focus when you’re a woman.”
Pink, whose real name is Alecia Moore, was upset that she was asked to “repeat” a “stupid fight” from her 20s. “I also take responsibility – I quit the practice of dodging the bull-t that will be thrown at us hardworking women. I am known for talking too much. But I never lie. And for every one or two women who have problems – there are hundreds who I praise and support and love.
The Grammy winner made headlines earlier this month when she appeared to shade Aguilera, 42, while talking about her experience filming the music video for the film. Red Mill! hit soundtrack, which was released in 2001. Pink and the singer “Indah” covered in it Patti LaBelle 1977 hit along with Mya, Lil Kim and Miss Elliot.
“It’s not very exciting,” Pink told BuzzFeed UK in a February 17 interview. “We’re all having fun and there’s, like, a lot of commotion and there’s some personality. Kim and Mya are great!”

“Xtina has something to do with who’s on the song. If you don’t know by now – I’m not ‘shading’ people by telling them over and over what’s going on,” he tweeted at the time. “I’m zero percent interested in your f–king drama. In case you haven’t noticed – I’ve been a bit busy selling [albums and concert tickets].”
However, this did not stop journalists from asking about it. Even CNN Chris Wallace ask him about the fight. “Not everyone is going to like it and that’s okay,” Pink said in an interview on Friday, February 24. “And at that time our personalities did not mix and it was okay. Then we hugged him out, kissed him and had several times.
In a post on Saturday, he apologized for discussing his past feud. “I also believe in genuine apologies – and owning Your Mistakes. I have to say less. Every time. Say less. Something I’m working on. This is a good Reminder,” he admitted. “My desire is to show the pain and the celebration of this noisy life through music and on stage. And I have done it. It’s amazing and consistent.”
