Tammy Slaton is in a very good place today.
He is married. He has lost a ton of weight. He may be leaving the rehab facility at some point in the future.
But things are not always positive for the TLC personality.
In a clip from the February 7 episode of 1000-Lb Sisters, uploaded today by E! News, we have been taken back many months to a particularly scary and terrible incident that affected Slaton and even a couple of family members.
In footage provided by TLC to E!, Tammy’s sisters – Amanda Slaton and Misty Slaton – discover that Tammy’s house is broken into shortly after Tammy entered rehab last year.
When Amanda and Misty arrive at Tammy’s house “to pick up some things they want,” they immediately notice something is wrong.
“Wow, all the stuff is gone!” Amanda said in the clip. “Oh, that’s some bull-t. Take it easy, I’m going to shoot this video real quick.”
Amanda and Misty really can’t believe the extent of the theft and destruction of affiliates.
“The fridge is here,” Amanda said as she took a video on her phone.
“The table is here. The kitchen sink is gone. The bathroom sink. The water heater is gone. The wardrobe that was here is gone with clothes and other things.”
Crazy, right?
How do you transport all that stuff from someone’s house without getting caught?!?
While their loved ones are sorting through this mess, they are afraid to break the news to Tammy – who is busy fighting her own personal battle in rehab.
“This is your whole house. Imagine someone coming in and taking everything you own,” Amanda said.
“Why did he go home? There was nothing there. I don’t even know if I want him to go home there anymore.
The brothers finally got into the car and made plans to file a police report.
“I was nervous about telling Tammy, ‘Wow, all your stuff is gone and your house has been robbed,'” Amanda said.
“It definitely hurts Tammy because she loves her home. She loves having her own place to call her own. At this point, she has nothing.
“Only the clothes he brought with him.
“They don’t have a place at this point and all they want is to go home.”
To be clear, as mentioned earlier, this episode was filmed months ago.
As already reported – by Tammy herself! – lately, Slaton has been doing really well these days.
Better than good, actually.
