A match made in movie heaven! Wyatt Russell and Meredith HagnerTheir relationship resembles a Hollywood fairy tale – complete with a workplace romance and a wedding in Colorado.
The actors met while working in 2016 People’s Heroes & Funny People. When they did not play love interests in the film, sparks flew on the screen. Hagner gushed over her then-boyfriend in March of that year.
“My girlfriend looks like a sexy 80’s cancer sucking dream on the poster for the new one [Richard] Linklater the movie made me go 😍 #sxsw,” ing Search Party the actress wrote via Instagram while promoting the role of Russell Everybody Wants Some.
Over the years, the North Carolina native has given fans a glimpse into her romance with Wyatt – who is her only son. Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell – even if they don’t have a social media presence.
Hagner announced in December 2018 that she and Wyatt were engaged over Christmas after purchasing a home together in Sherman Oaks, California, in April of that year.
“The love of my life is proposing to me. He is the best person in the world,” she wrote via Instagram along with a photo of the two hugging in a log cabin after she said yes. “It was an epic surprise surrounded by my closest family and I’m going to give the proposal 5 stars on yelp! !!!!”
The duo tied the knot less than a year later, in Lodge 49 The alum’s parents’ home is near Aspen, Colorado, in September 2019.
Sister Wyatt, Kate Hudson, announced in November 2020 that the former hockey player and his wife are expecting their first child. (Hawn shows Kate’s daughter and son Oliver Hudson with your ex-husband Bill Hudson. At Death Became Him actress welcomed her third child, Wyatt, with partner Kurt in June 1986. The Tombstone the actor also shared a son Boston Russell with ex-husband Hubley season.)
“Celebrating our next family member today,” Ing How to lose a man in 10 days star wrote via Instagram at the time, posting photos from Hagner’s baby shower. “First time to my cousin Wy and @merediththeweasel. We are over the moon and can’t wait!!!!”
At The Horse Girl The actress confirmed her pregnancy in the same month.
“The cat (baby) is out of the bag! But there is still a lot in the bag (placenta). What a wild gift to carry this sweet life,” wrote Hagner via social media. “My husband and I are very happy. Thank you to my nearest and dearest California for this magical and covid tested day💕💕.
The lovebirds kept their pregnancy journey under wraps – but confirmed in March 2021 that they welcomed son Buddy a few weeks after posing. Vogue as a couple.
