Would a new Tory leader save a number of seats? – politicalbetting.com

Can Sunak be removed before the election?

In some seat projections based on current polls, perhaps 150 Conservative MPs could be thrown out in the general election. This will surpass the 146 MPs who fell when Tony Blair’s New LAB entered GE1997.

But despite the dire political situation, we read no reports of a plot against Sunak or any suggestion that another Tory leader might do so. The party seems to have resigned itself to defeat and years of and possibly opposition.

How long will this last? Is there any way to change it? I have been following this for the past few days and there is no doubt in my mind that Sunak has not become the force that the party hoped for when he assumed leadership in October last year. He is not a good orator and all his appearances including PMQs seem like he repeats some prepared points and repeats them word for word.

The recent interview with Laura Kunnesbeg was very poor and she even made Starmer look good. He challenged him vigorously on the NHS claims he had been wronged.

The right odds may be worth betting that he will not be the leader of the election.

Record. I’m still recovering from my spine surgery on Sunday and my PB posts are less than usual.
