World Cup 2026: Tournament to feature biggest-ever fan festival with 13 host city sites
FIFA has confirmed its most expansive Fan Festival programme in tournament history, with 13 Host City sites set to bring the FIFA World Cup 2026 atmosphere to life across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Stretching nearly 4,000 kilometres across three nations, the FIFA Fan Festival – the official fan destination of the tournament – will feature giant match screens, live concerts, interactive football experiences, sponsor activations, and locally inspired food and culture. Entry at many sites will be free or free to register.
Venues include iconic locations such as Mexico City’s historic Zócalo, Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park, the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and Toronto’s Fort York National Historic Site. Each site has been tailored to reflect the character and community of its Host City.
Beyond the 13 festival sites, additional fan events will extend celebrations further, with multiple viewing locations across Los Angeles, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Seattle.
“These iconic locations will unite fans from around the world, while showcasing the distinctive spirit of each Host City,” said Heimo Schirgi, FIFA World Cup 2026 Chief Operating Officer.
The Fan Festival programme has welcomed over 40 million supporters globally since its launch 20 years ago.
