Chris Rock still feeling the slap and not listening Will SmithI’m sorry!
After last year’s chaos Oscar, in which the actor waltzed onstage and slapped s**t out of the comics, it was tense between the couple (and quite so)! But this does not mean that Will will stop trying to patch up with Chris – in fact, he is dead-set on making “amends” with people. So far, nothing great!

In the latest Netflix comedy special Fury of ChoiceChris went all-in on the scandal, saying:
“Everybody knows. Yeah, it happened, like a year ago, I got hit on at the Oscars by these motherfuckers. People were like, ‘Does it hurt? It still hurts! I have ‘Summertime’ ringing in my ear… You won’t see I’m on Oprah or Gayle crying. It’s not going to happen. I’m taking a hit like Pacquiao, bastard.
She insisted that she was not a “victim” on the set, but that she wanted nothing to do with the slapper. He even went on to diss Jada Pinkett Smith about his “entanglement” with the singer August Alsina from last year. Well, it doesn’t look like she’s keeping her husband Will’s name out of her mouth…
Along with a 10-year ban from ing Academy AwardWill faced some obstacles when trying to reach out and apologize for SNL alum. A source told people on Monday, the 54-year-old had “felt terrible for a long time” about the incident:
“She tried unsuccessfully to make amends in the best possible way with Chris.”
Oof.
An insider went on to say that he relies heavily on his family to get him through the tough times:
“But beyond that, family is important to him and [Smith] leaned on him. It all helped him to look inside and mature. He’s better but still regrets it.”
Will seems to think he’s doing better now, according to the source:
“Will listens to the people who try to help him and feels that he has become a better person.”
Could this be a little revenge for Will not picking up the phone last year, though? According to Madagascar actor in his comedy special, when the news breaks Jada’s “entanglement” with August and everyone calls Will “dog”, he tries to call I’m a Legend star but can not pass to:
“Entire. And who did he hit? Me, he knows he can beat it. That’s short.”
An eye for an eye? Or perhaps voicemail for voicemail? Hmm…
