In a post shared on social media by his son, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Free Zone Authority, Ambassador Mike Oquaye Jnr expressed his grief over his loss.
He wrote “It is with great sadness that I have to share the news of his mother’s death;
“Maj. Rtd. Alberta Adwoa Boatemaa Oquaye.
“Let us all pray for the husband and father of Rt. Hon. Prof Oquaye, son of Ambassador Mike Oquaye Jnr, and the whole family.
“Damirifa Due, Ya wor ojogban.”
Late Mrs. Oquaye is a retired Nurse at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.
