Next Theresa Judge revealed the story in the new episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, many fans were angry with Melissa, who claimed she was always there for her niece. Before the season, however, Teresa’s daughter challenged Melissa’s claim that she helped out during her mother’s prison sentence.
According to sources who spoke with Page Six“the reason [Melissa] he said no because it was on the weekend where [husband] Joe and Melissa won’t be home.
The source also said that Teresa’s daughter “wanted to stay there with some friends,” but that Gia was “old” at the time.
An insider claims Joe and Melissa were “uncomfortable” allowing this to happen because “there was no adult supervision.”
“They obviously love Gia,” said the source. “If Joe or Melissa – the only other adult – were in the house, they would probably stay.”
During the episode, the castmate Jennifer Aydin asked Teresa if she had “ever stayed in [her] beach house brother.”
“No,” answered Teresa, “never.”
The star went on to say, “[My daughter] Gia asks to stay there for once, and Melissa says no … I want to be around people who love us.
The tension between the families grows on the show, and will eventually lead to Joe and Melissa’s decision to skip Teresa’s wedding.
