As many people saw over the weekend, 90 Day Engagement: Another Way not aired on Sunday, February 12.
Few fans knew this was coming.
Others felt fear. Some even noted (more) Discovery Plus problems.
What’s up? At that time 90 Day Engagement: Another Way Season 4 coming home?

Sunday afternoon, there is a major American sporting event. It’s called the Superbowl.
We’re not sure why anyone would make such a dangerous sports event before and after Rihanna’s legendary performance, but this is it.
Due to the staggering volume of Americans who watch this show every year, many television shows have had to get creative with their broadcast schedules to avoid an unexpected drop in ratings.

Some shows, like HBO are fantastic Our End series, changed its schedule for early air – releasing what is usually a Sunday night episode.
(I heard Our End very good but haven’t watched it myself; watch other people playing the game already made me cry, so I’m not sure if I’m strong enough to watch the show)
90 Day Engagement: Another Way choose a different route for Season 4, Episode 3: just keep going off for a week.

This means viewers will go almost two weeks without a new episode.
(We say “almost” unprecedented because, you know, they only did this two months ago – bypassing December 25, the date when many viewers celebrate the Christian holiday, Christmas)
This two-week hiatus shocked the audience. Some viewers, anyway. After all, with more than a dozen spinoffs, this show is basically always at. Often with more than one series running in the same week.

Of course, this time, it was a bit awkward. We’re only two episodes into Season 4.
This means that viewers hardly know the new cast members.
Some have not even received an introduction. And, in the case of Nicole Sherbiny and Mahmoud Elsherbiny, we only met them in the last episode.

Nicole started sharing her love story about Mahmoud during the second episode. It was her opening debut.
He met Mahmoud by chance during a spiritual journey in Egypt. Instant thirst. They ended up getting married.
When Episode 3 airs on Feb. 19, Nicole will reveal more — including how the couple is ruining other people’s marriages, apparently to please Mahmoud’s unsuspecting family valid the wedding is enough.

Season 4 has received praise from viewers for its long overdue dose of LGBTQ+ representation.
To the show’s (partial) credit, they’ve always been pretty good about including different races. It sort of goes with the show’s premise, but that’s it already helps the series to stand out from the usual TLC programs of white, Christian families who often lead a counter-culture or even an anachronistic lifestyle.
Still, the show hasn’t always done a good job of mitigating racist and xenophobic reactions from viewers. Misogyny has gotten worse. But it appears that the production is making an effort.

Kris and Jeymi are the same couple. Despite the volume of seasons and spinoffs, they are only the third same-sex couple in the spinoff “main” in this franchise.
Meanwhile, Gabriel and Isabel are a different form of representation – because Gabe is transgender.
So far, the show hasn’t given him or Isabel a slanted edit — and Gabriel is a popular choice for fans in Season 4 so far.

We only have a few days to go, really, before Episode 3 airs.
It’s likely that the show will introduce the couple with the biggest age gap in the franchise’s history very soon. It could be on Sunday, if we can trust the teaser.
We don’t know when the show will go on hiatus next. But if it happens, we don’t need to panic.
