Waiting game? sister’s wife Meri Brown revealed where he was and Kody Brown stood up after he made his “decision” to no longer be a couple.
“I don’t think Kody realized it [queen] that’s me,” Meri, 51, joked during part 3 of Wives: One by one, which aired on Sunday, January 8. “And if they haven’t figured it out by now, you know, maybe they never will. Maybe they don’t want to.”
The California native admitted: “People change. Maybe they’re in this place where they’re like, ‘They’re not for me anymore.’ And now finally just say that.”
While hosting Love Krishna asked if Meri was willing to wait for Kody, 53, in the midst of a breakup, she replied, “I don’t know. Time will tell.
The TLC personality added: “I made the decision [if I’ll wait]. He’s made up his mind, so what now?”
Meanwhile, Kody explains what he wants from having four wives who are happy to be only legally and spiritually married. Robyn Brown. The patriarch announced his separation from his third wife Christine Brown in November 2021 after more than 25 years together.
When the marriage ended, he had an affair with his second wife Janelle Brown and Meri’s first husband became more obvious. Janelle, 53, confirmed last month that she and Kody had been “separated for months” because they had been together for almost 30 years.
Jealousy, for his part, was revealed during part 1 of Wives: One by one, which aired in December, that Kody “just made a decision” that they passed without considering her feelings. While the former firearms dealer later said he was thinking about reconciling with the owner of the Bed and Breakfast in 2020 around the 30th anniversary, in 2021, the writing was on the wall.
“It’s the last anniversary, he’s like, ‘I don’t even know why you called me, Meri,'” he admitted during the December tell-all, which he tapped at the end of 2022. “He’s like, ‘We’re not married. . We’re not acting. like marriage.’”
Kody – who shows children Leon27, with Meri – it was explained in Sunday’s episode that his life has drastically changed over the past few years.
“I’m actually on the verge of not even polygamy. And this has been part of my identity for 30 years,” he said. “Today I think, well, today is good but I also miss the past. I’m really looking for it again. Let go of some of the past and regret some of it.”
Although Kody seems melancholic over the past few years, when asked about his hopes for the future, he doesn’t mention mending fences with Meri.
“One of the kids said to me, ‘Dad, mommy said you have a mate and she wants to have you,'” the Wyoming native said of Christine and her six children. “Well, I hope he finds his mate.”
Kody added: “I hope I can find a place where I’m happy and good with Janelle and I hope all my kids and I can get along.”
Meri, meanwhile, made it clear during the episode that she has seen how the focus of her estranged partner has shifted to Robyn, 43, as the rest of the relationship fell apart.
“Robyn is the one he’s most comfortable with. I’ve seen Kody become more comfortable with different people over the years,” he said. “Not necessarily exactly, exactly the same. It’s really just based on who you have a good relationship with.
