A privileged alive! The fan-favorite series aired on the CW for just one season between 2008 and 2009, but its star cast — including Joanna Garcia, Lucy Hale and Anne Archr – definitely made waves.
While Garcia was already a TV veteran when she landed the lead role of Megan Smith privileged – he started his career in the 90s by playing roles Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Reba – Hale is a newcomer to the small screen when he portrays the part of Rose Baker. Rose and her twin sister, Sage (Ashley Newbrough) is trained by Megan in the series after she becomes close to her grandmother (Archer). Newbrough, for his part, soon became known for his role in several Lifetime thrillers, including 2016 You Can Now Kill The Bridebefore moving to the lighter side of the network with starring parts in several holiday-themed films.
Archer, for her part, has been nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe for supporting actress before starring in the teen comedy. The actress got two nods for her turn as Michael Douglas his character’s wife, Beth, in the 1987 thriller Fatal Attraction – a critically-acclaimed film that also scored a costar Glenn Close best actress nods for the same trophy.
After roles in popular films like the ’90s and early 2000s Patriots Game, True and Present Danger and Rules of Engagementalong with stints in various TV shows and roles in several TV movies, Archer scored her part in privileged in 2008.
At the time, he discussed the process of filming a sitcom in front of a live audience. “In comedy, this one, you know very well. The give-and-take of the audience directly.
