New Kaizer Chiefs signing Christian Saile Basomboli has been described as a utility player who can play on the wing and as a target.

Bosomboli, 22, joined Chiefs this week from Nchanga Rangers in Zambia after impressing on trial with Amakhosi during the World Cup break.
He arrives with high expectations after passing Arthur Zwane’s stringent recruitment requirements.
Zambian journalist Aaron Mubanga told SAfm this week what Amakhosi supporters can expect from Bosomboli.
“He is one of those players who can play anywhere in the front line,” Mubanga told Thabiso Mosia on Sport On.
“But he likes to come from the wing and cut in. He can play on the right wing and shoot on the left.
“He can even play as a target, but likes to be on the wing (more) because of his speed and tricks.”
He also told me that Bosomboli’s transfer was not a problem because Rangers gave him his blessing and I wish him well at Chiefs.
“He’s got the blessing of the club. He’s been the main man. He’s got a lot of tricks, he’s very strong and he’s got pace and power.
“He is dynamic but the trick is to adapt in South Africa and fit into the system. He needs to be able to adapt because Chiefs fans will expect a lot from him.
Kambole disaster
Bosomboli is not the first player to join Chiefs from Zambia with great expectations and a huge following.
Lazarus Kambole is one of those who joined Amakhosi after doing well in the Zambian league recently.
But he failed to make an impression at Chiefs during his three years there until he was released and returned to Zambia.
Bosomboli, like Caleb Bimenyimana, is also a lanky kid and the two would be a formidable combination for Amakhosi.
He is unlikely to feature for Amakhosi when they meet Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday evening at the FNB Stadium for their DStv Premiership clash.
Chiefs also announced the pre-contract signing of SuperSport United defender Thatayaone Dithlokwe. According to his contract, Dithlokwe can only join Chiefs in July.
His contract at SuperSport expires at the end of June but Matsatsantsa is expected to release him early to join his new team.
