Channing Tatum no plan to keep the secret from his daughter!
The star spoke to Entertainment Tonight on the eve of the release of Magic Mike’s The Last Dance – and revealed that he had nothing to hide from his daughter Everly Tatum. Specifically, he will not lie when he learns something Magic Mike franchise. He says when a 9-year-old is “old enough” to watch an R-rated movie, he’ll “talk” to him:
“There’s no version that I didn’t have a conversation about ‘Dad not only do it in movies, I’m a stripper.'”
The 42-year-old was honest about his intention not to keep secrets from the little girl:
“I won’t lie to him.”
For those who don’t know, Magic Mike It is based on Channing’s real life experience working as a stripper in Tampa. He came out of Glenville State College in 1999 when he was only 18 years old and was a stripper in a local night club called Chan Crawford. And the gig is apparently not sweet!

In 2014, the He’s The Man star to At The Hollywood Reporter the money is not very good – sometimes it only brings twice in the evening:
“150 dollars … at night. On a bad night, 70 dollars – even 50 at times. … It’s not as good as you think.”
However, the dancing skills and all those experiences are worth it. Movement in Up got him in the door in Hollywood – and he worked hard to turn that foothold into a movie star! And of course, Up also where she met her future husband (and now ex). Jenna Dewan.
And long before they broke up, the dancing duo shared Everly, who was born in 2013. The couple officially divorced in 2019, but bitch the actor has no regrets – in fact, he said it has made him closer to his 9-year-old daughter. He “became best friends” with the little girl, he said Vanity Fair last week:
“I just let it all go and focused on him. It was the best thing I could have done. [The split] This is probably exactly what I needed. I don’t think I’ll ever do the work…on myself.
Aww! Sweet father-daughter duo, we love hearing how close they are! Sometimes the hardest decisions are the best in the long run… Like telling the truth about stripping, we guess!
