According to a new report, Wendy Williams is not done with the small screen.
As most celebrity gossip fans know by now, the former talk show host has been battling a number of health issues over the past few months — of the emotional and physical variety.
The show was canceled about a year ago, following a season in which Williams missed hosting due to a long-standing diagnosis of Graves’ Disease … combined with rumors of mental decline.
There has long been talk of Williams suffering from dementia.

Lately, however, Williams has been out and about in The Big Apple and a source has now told The Sun that she is hoping to return to television.
“Wendy is filming a reality show,” this outlet reported a few days ago, adding:
“He rocked up to New York celebrity hotspot Fresco by Scotto and had the producer give a Non-Disclosure Agreement to customers.”
This being said, Wendy does not yet appear to have a real deal with a real network.

“It doesn’t look like a crew hired by a network, it’s like a very homemade reality show,” an insider told The Sun.
“It looks like it’s going to be a show about her life after The Wendy Williams Show.”
Shortly after disappearing from the program, Williams teased the start of the podcast in a way that left fans confused and concerned.
As far as we know, he never came up with this idea.

Back in October, Wendy checked out of the health facility and her publicist said the following on Entertainment Tonight:
“Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looks forward to releasing many of her projects.”
Williams himself later added: “Thank you to our fans for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers.
“I’m back and better than ever.”

Back when her talk show was axed, and Sherri Shepherd was hired full-time to take her place, the production company behind it blasted the troubled host as follows:
“We all have a great love and affection for Wendy, who became a true icon during her incredible 12 seasons as the solo host of the daily Hot Topics and celebrity interview show.
“Since Wendy is still unavailable to host the show while she moves on, we believe it is in the best interest of our fans, station and advertising partners to begin this transition now.
“We hope to work with Wendy again in the future, and we wish her a speedy recovery.”
