Bulls boss Jake White has named 10 Springboks in a strong squad for the team’s Rugby United Championship clash against the Dragons in Wales this weekend.
The 28-man squad will arrive in England this week for the match at Rodney Parade in Newport this Friday, with kick-off at 9.45pm.
“We have three more away games this January. This is the hardest block for us, playing six out of seven games on the road, so it’s not easy, but we have to make sure we improve every week,” White said on Monday.

“It’s a huge test of character for us as a group, for the coach and the players, but we have to make sure we start the new year with good energy and get the campaign (United Rugby Championship and Heineken Champions Cup) on track.”
The Bulls haven’t had the best festive break yet with their teams going down to the Stormers (37-27) and Sharks (47-20), both away from Pretoria.
After this weekend’s games, the Bulls return to Loftus Versfeld for a Champions Cup match against Exeter on January 14 before returning to England for a game against Lyon, in the same competition. He remains in Europe for URC’s clash with Scarlets before returning home.
