WATCH: Kevin Hart dances to Mshoza in Sandton



International and popular comedian Kevin Hart enjoyed his time in South Africa as he experienced some of the country’s trendy spots.

Hart arrived in SA last week Wednesday, to do the Reality Check tour while starting in Cape Town.

Currently in Pretoria, the actor and comedian is spotted at some of Sandton’s trendiest spots as he dances to the sounds of Amapiano and Kwaito.

Saint for Zioux

Videos were shared on social media of customers who were surprised by the famous guests of Saint Restaurant and Zioux, both in Marc in Sandton and the brainchild of celebrity chef, David Higgs and Marble Group.

Hart danced to classic Kwaito songs Short by the late Mshoza in Zioux. The establishment said they were honored to have Hart visit them on Friday evening, adding “what a glorious night!”

At Saint’s, patrons couldn’t control Hart and his entourage as they continued to walk into the night.

‘Mpho’ feels the love

Hart was given the nickname Mpho by the locals, as he praised the crowd for his love.

At one of his first shows, he said: “Show it [one] in Cape Town it’s INSSAAAAAANNNNEEE! So much energy [and] love it so much! Holy s*** ….you are unreal! Johannesburg you are up next! Let’s go gooooooooo.”

Hart added the country’s vibe is “different.”

“I love you so much. Sincerely, Mpho Hart,” he said.

Since the announcement that Kevin Hart’s Check the facts tour will get dates in SA, tickets go on sale from November 2022.

This is the first time Wedding Ringer actor returned to the country since 2016, he received a good welcome from the country at that time.

Despite the buzz about VIP tickets costing over R17 000 they quickly sold out. Starting price for Check the facts it is r910.

Hart performs on Friday, February 17, and Saturday, February 18, at the Sun Bet Arena, Time Square, in Pretoria.

The final show will take place on Sunday in Time Square.
