Erika Kirk is done with Candace Owens and others peddling conspiracy theories about her late husband, Charlie Kirk.
Owens and Charlie Kirk were once colleagues at Kirk’s Turning Point USA ― and also good friends.
But since the right-wing podcaster’s death, Owens has started to push unfounded theories involving Israel’s and even the U.S. military’s alleged involvement in the 31-year-old’s killing.
Bari Weiss, editor-in-chief of CBS News, asked Erika Kirk at a CBS Town Hall what she would say to Owens and others who continue to spread misinformation.
“Stop. That’s it. That’s all I have to say. Stop,” Erika Kirk said, as her face turned stony at the recorded event, which will air on Sunday.

Charlie Kirk was shot and killed during a speaking event at Utah Valley University on Sept. 10.
After his death, Erika Kirk succeeded him as the CEO of Turning Point USA. She’s continued to make press rounds to promote her late husband’s book, “Stop, In The Name of God: Why Honoring The Sabbath Will Transform Your Life.”
During a recent appearance on the Fox News show “Outnumbered,” host Harris Faulkner also asked Erika about conspiracy theorists and people who are eager to know where Charlie Kirk is buried.
“Everything was public. We will be building the most beautiful memorial for my husband at Turning Point USA, and it will be for the world to see,” Erika Kirk said, adding that her husband’s burial spot will remain private.

She then addressed recent rumors about her husband’s death, including Owens’ theory that the Turning Point USA founder’s assassination was an “inside job.”
“I do not have time to address the noise,” Erika Kirk said, explaining that her “silence does not mean that somehow Turning Point USA and all of the handpicked staff that loved my husband and my husband loved them, is somehow in on it.”
“We are busy building. And you know what I thought? I thought, these people are human,” she said. “We are all grieving in our own way and they are trying to find the answer to something that happened that was so evil.”
