Is this all just locked?
Early in the investigation of University of Idaho Murder, police sources said despite four victims – Maddie Magen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodleand Ethan Chapin – this is considered a targeted attack. Many thought that only one student was the victim. Furthermore, speculation quickly went to Kaylee. Why?
Kaylee’s father Steve Goncalves not interested in being tight-lipped as in Moscow Police Department in the early days. He said he knew the wound was “inappropriate” – and NewsNation confirmed Kaylee’s injuries were “significantly more severe” than the other victims. Presumably this is because they be the target. But the latest revelation points to his best friend.

We learned this week from a source close to the suspect investigation Bryan Kohberger – who was arrested at the end of December and charged with all four murders – had a photo number of one of the victims on his phone. It is not clear if this is a captured image or a saved one Instagram. We’ve heard he’s after a bunch of girls.
Yes, NewsNation learned from the source that the photos were indeed downloaded from IG. But he found something else that could change this whole case. Insiders say Kohberger follows Kaylee and Maddie on Instagram. However, based on her activities on social media platforms, it is Maddie who seems to be in the spotlight.
Ashleigh Banfield reported on her show Wednesday night that a source revealed that Kohberger had “liked” all of Maddie’s photos. Every single one. She has liked some of Kaylee too, but ALL of her BFFs. Considering Maddie is included in Kaylee’s range, who knows? Maybe they are the ones he likes?
We obviously have no way of knowing, and everything from here is speculation – even if it’s all small leaps.
If Maddie is everyone’s favorite Insta victim, there must be a reason they is the one with the photo on the cell phone. And also that they i.e. the one you messaged repeatedly – but never messaged back. And while Kaylee may have been a stalker, she was with Maddie the whole time. In fact, they specifically told people traveling in groups for their safety. Is it possible that Kohberger followed him both sides — or even just Maddie? And Kaylee was the only one there? We only know from the probable cause affidavit that Kohberger’s phone was in the same location as some of the victims – not one of them followed. We know he goes to the restaurant Maddie and Xana work at a few times. Now it seems clear where they are looking.
Does this mean Maddie is the target the whole time? It’s a shocking turn if so. But it might help establish a motive – there seems to be plenty of evidence that he’s obsessed with her. What do you think?? See the full story (below):
