Josh Duggar’s prison sentence did not go smoothly. Not for him, or for the few people who still care about him.
After the prison authorities catch him with a smuggled phone, Josh is in solitary confinement. Insiders do not expect the release to happen soon.
But this obviously affects more than him. Anna has long regarded the “responsible wife” in an unhealthy way. That has gone beyond to visit him.
There are some problems with that. But one of them? Visiting him is a miserable experience. And not just because it’s Josh.

Anna Duggar has been able to visit Josh Duggar regularly since his incarceration, despite some obstacles.
She has been visiting her delinquent husband twice a month.
And, although there are many good reasons to do otherwise, they don’t make the journey alone.

According to FCI Seagoville rules, Anna will have a very limited choice as to how many children she can carry.
But an insider has reported that Anna brought at least some of her children to visit.
Small children, in particular, are limited to one per visit – and parents must not allow them to walk around. This is a wise precaution. They are in prison, and there may be predatory monsters. But enough about that Josh.

Reports say that, until now, Anna and her children have been living in a federal prison in Texas in 2023.
Now, we’re learning that the visit may not be pleasant.
We’re not talking about the emotional toll of involuntarily visiting shamed and unrepentant sexual predators while in the public eye. This is about the physical conditions in prison.

According to a report by The Daily Mail, this is not your average appointment. It’s not what most of us imagined.
Sometimes, the insider explained, the visit would end only an hour earlier than the stated schedule.
Anyone visiting a prisoner must sit on a “plastic chair.” This is probably a precaution against heavier chairs, which could theoretically be used as weapons.

The report also said the room was “really cold.”
Obviously, we take this with a grain of salt. We have read many accounts of people talking about wearing it sweater and gloves to the office only for them to admit it was 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Some people have temperature preferences similar to reptiles. So “cold” is beautiful subjectivethat’s what we’re talking about.

And if the guests are hungry, they may be out of luck.
“Sometimes, there is food in the vending machines, but often it goes for weeks without anything,” the insider said.
Overall, the source gave his assessment: “It’s very uncomfortable.”

The good news (even if she won’t see it that way) for Anna is that she and her children can get a break from this discomfort. At least, for a while.
Possession of Josh’s contraband phone has landed him in solitary confinement. Insiders suggest that you could end up facing this extreme punishment for weeks – or even a few months.
The odds of him enjoying the privilege of visiting with his wife and children are slim. It’s unclear if Josh’s offense (and the way he could have gotten the phone) will have long-term consequences for his meeting with Anna.
