Nana Ama McBrown’s move was made official on March 13, 2023 after Media General held a mini durbar to welcome her to the Kanda-based media house.
The move has attracted the attention and mentions of Abena Moet, Ola Michael, Kwame Nkrumah Tikese3 and other workers in the Despite Media who have campaigned to paint the actress as ungrateful.
In response to these comments, Captain Smart described the workers of the Media as villagers. “If I get a chance, I will do Nana Ama Mcbrown again and we will wear McBrown brand shirts from the circle to this place. Are you sick or crazy?” he raged.
Speaking during the Maakye show on Onua TV, he continued “what’s wrong with you man? The villagers, the villagers are sick of the growth of women. So if your sister is Nana Ama Mcbrown, wouldn’t you be happy? Some say we shouldn’t accept them like this, they are animals“.
In the video, he continued to use other unprintable words to address claims by some staff of Despite Media.
