Verna Water donates incubators to Ga West Municipal Hospital


Verna Mineral Water through the Ghana Medical Association has donated an incubator to Ga West Municipal Hospital, Amasaman.

The donation is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility of Twellium Industrial Company Ltd, producer of Verna Mineral Water, Slemfit Water, Rush Energy Drink, Mcberry Biscuit and several other products, as part of a series of company activities to contribute to health delivery in Ghana support.

The donation was made through the Ghana Medical Association, which has signed a special partnership agreement with Twellium Industrial Company to promote and develop interventions in the health sector.

Speaking at a brief ceremony held at the Ga West Municipal Hospital on Friday to hand over the equipment, the President of the Ghana Medical Association, Dr. Frank Serebour, said the gesture was the beginning of the results expected to be seen with the GMA partnership. with Verna water.

He said the partnership has donated incubators to hospitals in other regions especially in the Northern, Volta and Ashanti regions.

He promised that this year, Ghanaians will see more hospitals benefiting from the partnership.

Dr. Serebour used the opportunity to thank Verna water for their support.

On his side, the Medical Superintendent of Ga West Municipal Hospital, Dr. Eric Ntiamoah, with joy and gratitude for Verna Water.

According to Dr Ntiamoah, the incubator could not have come at a better time.

He said the pressure on the hospital as a result of the increase in population in the Municipality meant that the hospital had to be fully equipped to meet the health needs of the people.

He asked other organizations especially those in Ga West municipality to support the hospital.

As part of its social responsibility, Verna Water’s goal is to support healthcare institutions and facilities.

It should be noted that, Verna Water in July 2022 constructed canteens, drains and fence walls at Kaneshie Polyclinic as part of efforts to support health care delivery in Ghana.

Through the Changing Lives campaign, Verna Water also supports various people to carry out operations from various food sources in Ghana.
