The Sharks have beaten the Lions 29-7 in their United Rugby Championship match at Ellis Park on Saturday.
The first half was a tight affair as both teams outplayed each other but could only beat each other in their efforts to go into the break tied 7-7.
The Sharks broke away in the second half making the most of their opportunities, and they got three tries for their efforts to secure an important bonus-point win, while they left the hosts scoreless in the second stanza.
Lion of possibility
The Lions had a chance to extend their lead in the first 21 minutes with three shots on goal, but flyhalf Gianni Lombard was unable to beat them, and the Sharks finally had the first say with flyhalf Curwin Bosch running past two defenders before running over. gas through the defense to score the first try in the 26thTh minute.
