Five people have died after a boat carrying mourners crashed on the lake early Saturday morning.
The five people who died were three children aged three and two girls. All passengers were not wearing life jackets.
According to some survivors, they signaled to Gabriel Ajigodi that he was overloaded and asked him to return to his place of residence but the sailor ignored his request. in the middle of the journey, the boat capsized.
Meanwhile, NADMO and community rescue teams are still in the search party in the area to look for some survivors.
