Clyde has been slammed by Democrats and others after distributing gun lapel pins to Republican lawmakers in the House.
Clyde, the owner of a major Georgia gun retailer who profits from the use of guns, lamented in a tweet that he has “triggered” Democrats” with a pin extolling the assault rifle, which he wears. He said his goal was to lend support to the Second Amendment.
That sparked a flurry of photos on Twitter of a terrified Clyde on January 6, with one critic mocking: “Were you triggered here?”
