Tuesday March 7 declared a holiday for school children
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that Tuesday, March 7 is a holiday for school children.
GES said in a statement that today is for the children to rest from the preparations for the Independence Day parade that was held on Monday, March 6.
“It is hereby announced for the information of all schools and the general public that Tuesday the 7th of March has been declared a public holiday for all school children in Ghana.
“This is so that they can rest after preparing diligently for the Independence Day Parade.
“Schools resume in full on Wednesday, March 8. Therefore all parents and guardians should be aware,” said the GES signed Head of Public Relations Cassandra Twum Ampofo.
