Fox News said in a statement on Monday that it has parted ways with controversial host Tucker Carlson.

Carlson has been with the network for 14 years

Fox News said in a statement on Monday that it has parted ways with controversial host Tucker Carlson.

“We are grateful for his service to the network as a host and previously as a contributor,” the network said in a statement.

Carlson, after appearing on CNN Crossfire and on PBS and MSNBC, joining Fox News in 2009. Na Tucker Carlson Tonight the event took an increasingly provocative turn.

Fox last week settled a defamation lawsuit with Toronto-based Dominion Voting Systems for $787 million.
