Immediately after the midterms last month, former President Donald Trump officially announced that he will be a candidate for 2024. As the betting chart shows, he went up for a while but since then the story is all downhill. This is usually in the polls and in response to the “re-run” plan.
Now there is only an 11% chance of betting that he will get his old job back.
Just over a year will start in 2024 primaries and the question will be whether Trump will still be in the race at that stage. I’m not sure. Nor am I sure that the 80-year-old Biden will run again — even if he gets a boost from the midterms.
