Donald Trump claimed Friday that thefts at retail stores in major cities included “hundreds” of people leaving with stolen refrigerators.
The former president, in a speech for the convention of the National Rifle Association in Indianapolis, said that “gangs of hundreds” of young people in major cities “attacked” department stores.
“And they’re coming in by the hundreds, and they’re coming out with refrigerators and with air conditioners and big things — big, small, everything,” Trump said.
“Fur coat, coat without fur, everything they carry. They vacated the store.”
