Trump Describes What Happened When He Was Arrested, And You Can Guess Who Cried

But the uncertain story is coming true.

The former president claimed that employees at the New York court where he was arraigned earlier this month mourned him.

“They entered me, and I’ll tell you, people were crying, people who work there, professionals work there, who have no problem putting the killer and they see everyone,” he told Carlson. “It’s a tough, tough place, and they’re crying. They’re even crying. They’re saying, ‘I’m sorry.'”

Trump told Carlson — a liar who admitted he hates Trump “passionately” in a private message — that people in court were also saying “2024, sir, 2024” to him.

“Tears are coming,” Trump said. “I’ve never seen anything like it.”

But Trump often claims to see exactly that: people who cry in his presence, especially “tough people” who have never cried until defeated when they meet.

The story is not always supported by evidence, such as the claim that farmers and ranchers cried behind him when he spoke at an event in 2017.
