Tristan Thompson Apologizes to Late Mom for ‘Wrong Decisions’

Tristan Thompson honors his late mother, Andrea Thompson, with an emotional tribute – reflecting on his mistakes and the person he longed for.

“My dear mother, You haven’t gone for a month. I can’t believe it. I am in the deepest part of grief and sorrow, “the NBA star, 31, began in the heart-wrenching post, which he shared through Instagram on Friday, February 5. the biggest supporter / superhero is gone. In a long letter, the former Chicago Bulls player also apologized to Andrea for the mistakes in his life. He is also the father of Prince’s son, 6, with his ex Jordan Craig.)

“Well, what I can say is, I’m sorry if I made a mistake in my life. Sorry for the embarrassment & pain. You raised me better than I can show you,” wrote the Canadian native. “But I also learned that sorry is not enough. Act louder than the world. So I’m not just thankful. Stay tuned for the ways I will show the world what an amazing son I have raised. I will show you that even if we fall & make mistakes, we will get back up. You motivate me. Standing next to me is the person I know you always believe in. I’ll make you proud, I promise!”

Tristan also promised Andrea that her younger sister, who was ill, “will be taken care of.”

Speaking of 16-year-old Amari, the basketball star wrote, “I will protect her, love her and do anything in the world to make sure she’s okay.”

Tristan’s comments about his youngest sister echoed those of Khloé, who paid tribute to Andrea earlier this month after attending her sister’s funeral. Kim Kardashian.

“I know you never want to leave your son,” the Good American cofounder, 38, wrote via Instagram at the time. “She’s your whole world. She’ll learn to live with a hole in her heart because she’s a warrior like her warrior mother. Just know, I promise, Amari will be fine. We’ll all take care of her, help her and protect her. Your kids will be okay- is it because he has a guardian angel by his side.

According to TMZ, Andrea was at her home in Toronto on January 5th when she suffered a heart attack.
