In hot water. Travis Scott wanted by the New York City Police Department in connection with the assault case, according to several outlets.
The rapper, 31, allegedly punched a sound engineer in the face at Nebula – a Midtown Manhattan nightclub – and caused $12,000 worth of damage to speakers and a video screen in the early hours of Wednesday, March 1. Us Weekly that Scott arrived at the club at around 1 am ET and appeared to be drunk.
According to NBC New York, the sound engineer had no visible injuries when he filed the report. After the alleged beating, Scott reportedly left the scene in an unknown vehicle. The outlet reports that the NYPD is looking for the “Goosebumps” musician on assault and felony charges.
The Grammy nominee – who shares daughter Stormi, 5, and son Aire, 13 months, with her ex Kylie Jenner – has faced legal problems in the past. In February 2018, he pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct after being arrested in Arkansas in May 2017 on charges including inciting a riot. Scott was ordered to pay $6,825.31 to two people who said they were injured at the concert.

The “BUTTERFLY EFFECT” rapper spoke about the incident for the first time during a December 2021 YouTube interview with Charlamagne Tha Allah.
“I don’t know the exact details [of the incident] until a few minutes before the press conference [after my set],” he said at the time. “And even then you’re like, ‘Wait, what?’ Dead people, it happened at the concert, but that’s how it is … “
