Tom Sizemore’s Family Prepares To Make ‘End Of Life’ Decision After Brain Aneurysm & Stroke

At that time, the manager, Charles Lagotold the outlet that he finally found the 61-year-old unconscious, before calling emergency medical services. The statement was released through Entertainment Tonight through Tom’s manager and the actor’s family, he gives insight into his country since suffering a life-threatening incident:

“In the early hours of Saturday, February 18, Tom Sizemore collapsed at his home in Los Angeles and was transported to the hospital by Paramedics. He was found to have suffered a brain aneurysm [sic] which occurs as a result of a stroke. Since that day, Tom remains in critical condition, in a coma and in intensive care.

Not so good… In case you didn’t know, a brain aneurysm occurs when a “bulge or balloon in a blood vessel in the brain” ruptures, “causing bleeding into the brain (hemorrhagic stroke),” according to Mayo Clinic. The statement continued:

“Today, the doctors told the family that there is no more hope and have advised them of the final decision. The family is now making a final decision and a further statement will be issued on Wednesday.

Thus … Once the “end of life” call is made by a medical professional, it means that there is no chance of recovery, and the patient continues to be on life support and intensive care. Can’t imagine what his family is going through right now.

The representative concluded his statement by thanking his fans for their support through the “difficult” situation:

“We ask for privacy for his family during this difficult time and want to thank everyone for the hundreds of messages of support, and prayers they have received. This has been a difficult time for him.

Our hearts are with the Sizemore family right now, as well as all of their loved ones. We’ll just have to wait until Wednesday when they publish their statement on end-of-life decisions.
