Tom Schwartz claims it is not Scheana Shaybut Tom Sandovalwho convinced Kiss Rachel Lewis for Vanderpump Rules camera.
Just over a week after Sandoval’s alleged relationship with Raquel was exposed, and amid claims of Schwartz being used as a “decoy” for his reported infidelity, an old interview has surfaced, in which Schwartz blames Sandoval – and Sandoval admits he “stocked” about hookup.
“I’m guilty by association,” Schwartz told ET Canada, as seen in the March 9 clip. “Oh, God. [Sandoval] made me do it. I don’t want to do that. He was like, ‘If you don’t do it, you’re really wissy’… He steamrolled me.
Although Sandoval doesn’t like being blamed, he said the scenes were “fun” to film for the new season.
“I’m tired [about their on-camera kiss]. I feel happy,” Sandoval said. “He went behind this little green wall, and I broke two beers and gave them to him.”
When Ariana Madix has remained silent regarding the romance reported by his long-time partner with a mutual friend, Raquel, an insider told Us Weekly in the latest issue of the magazine that his relationship with Sandoval “has been hanging by a thread” before the split.
“It’s a friendship based on convenience rather than one built on love and romance,” the source alleged.
But that’s not to say Ariana isn’t completely broken by betrayal. In fact, according to a report from TMZ on March 10, he was too upset and in no place to accept Sandoval’s explanation for the matter. However, he has no interest in interacting with Sandoval and has put on a “catch you” vibe.
As Pump Rules fans will remember, Sandoval first there was a statement of apology which Ariana did not even mention. Then, a week after the news, he finally released a message admitting his wrongdoing and selfishness.
“I made mistakes, was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt the people I love. No one deserves to feel the pain in such a traumatic and public way,” he said on Instagram. “I can only imagine how devastating this is for Ariana and everyone around us. I feel terrible about this. My biggest regret is that I let Ariana down. I never let so many people down, including my loving family and friends.
TMZ then revealed that Ariana is currently in Mexico for a friend’s party, which Sandoval was also invited to but had to decline, before the scandal, due to a previous engagement.
While Ariana knew that she and Sandoval needed to work things out, especially since they had a home, it wasn’t a priority for her right now.
