The Valley star Tom Schwartz recently opened up on his kiss with Lala Kent, resentment toward former Vanderpump Rules costar Tom Sandoval, and whether he was a bad husband to Katie Maloney in a new interview.

As fans watching the third season of The Valley saw, Tom, 43, and Lala, 35, shared an innocent smooch on the fifth episode.

Tom admitted in a conversation on E! News’ Hot Goss that his kiss with Lala created “a little bit” of strain with his current girlfriend, model Kiana Carroll, 27.

“Watching it back, it felt disrespectful,” he said.

Tom also noted kiss is “a strong word” and labeled the kiss as a “platonic peck.”

He also called it “wrong” and “inappropriate.”

“Me and Lala have never had a sexual moment together, ever,” he added, noting he doesn’t want to kiss her again.

As longtime followers of Vanderpump Rules will never forget, Tom’s friend, Tom Sandoval, 43, lit the Bravo world ablaze when it was revealed he was cheating on longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix with their friend Raquel Leviss.

Tom admitted that “it was almost impossible not to harbor a lot of resentment toward” Sandoval.

“It kind of turned it into a f*cking circus,” he continued, noting that Sandoval is “family” and his “brother.”

“We were a trio. Me, Jax [Taylor], and Tom,” Tom elaborated. “We lived together. They were the first two people I met. We lived together in West Hollywood, 2009. Those were formative years for me. We were out there grinding, barely getting by, and then you forge a special bond with someone when you’re just – when you’re starving and you’re hungry and like, you know, every day is a challenge. Hustling, auditioning. So like, they’re still my family. I love all of them. And then when they’re – when they’re embroiled in like these big scandals, it’s hard to… for a long time, I felt like… I was… a supporting actor in someone else’s movie.”

During the interview, Tom also addressed his relationship with his ex-wife Katie, 40, insisting he “wasn’t a horrible husband.”

“I just was like, kind of mediocre,” he stated.

While he claimed he laughs his “a*s off” when he goes back and watches old episodes of the show involving them, he copped to showing “poor judgment” and acting “impish.”

“People always joke about the frontal lobe development,” Tom shared. “I don’t think I got it until like – I don’t think I became sentient until I was like 35. Just immaturity.”
