Tom Sandoval he reportedly threatened to stop filming Vanderpump Rules out of concern that he will be painted in a “negative light” in season 10’s extended scenes.
After filming a scene with Raquel Leviss on Saturday, during which the two, who were accused of having a six-month relationship behind the back of their boyfriend and friend, Ariana Madixallegedly showing a kiss, Sandoval expressed his frustrations with the producer, demanding to reshoot the scene – or else.
“Tom didn’t like the scene with Raquel and felt it would paint her in a negative light. He told the producers he wanted to reshoot the movie, but the producers weren’t having it,” a source told Entertainment Tonight on March 7. “Tom told the production that he would never shoot again. Vanderpump Rules if they don’t listen.”
Even Sandoval’s former friend and former castmate, Jax Taylorshared claims on Twitter.
“Funny he now refuses to make a movie and does the same thing when Miami girls are in town,” he wrote in a since-deleted tweet, also adding a hashtag, via Pump Rules fan page on Instagram, to “have sh-t.”

Although Sandoval is reportedly not happy with how the production is going, an insider told Entertainment Tonight that he is scheduled to re-shoot in the coming days as his castmates continue to take stands against him.
“The Tom and Raquel incident has created a major divide in the group with almost everyone against Tom and Raquel,” another source explained. “The group looks like Tom has gone through a mid-life crisis, by forming a band and sometimes acting. The girls rallied around Ariana, but knew at the time that she would be OK.
Meanwhile, according to a third source, Sandoval and Raquel are “filming as a couple” despite concerns about being painted in a negative light.
“Tom and Raquel are filming as a couple. What they’ve shot so far, it looks like boyfriend and girlfriend,” said the insider.
In fact, according to a second report, Sandoval and Raquel allegedly locked lips for the cameras in Raquel’s apartment.
“They kissed on camera,” a source told Page Six on March 7, twice describing their romance as “complicated.”
Before Sandoval and Raquel’s scene over the weekend, producers filmed with Sandoval and Ariana at their $2 million home in Valley Village, where Ariana reportedly felt “gaslit” and “disturbed” by the conversation.
“She gave him several reasons why she never cheated,” the insider said, adding “she didn’t tell him about her relationship with him. [Raquel] because she is worried about the impact on her mental health… [Ariana] had told what had happened to his friends and colleagues, the majority of whom were disappointed Tom seemed unable to take responsibility for his actions or express great remorse.
“Of course, they’ve rallied behind him in recent days,” the insider added.
Vanderpump Rules Season 10 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
