Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix is one of the longest-running pairs of Vanderpump Rules. And according to Sandoval, that doesn’t come without “pressure.”
After almost a decade of dating, as some other show couples call it, Sandoval and Ariana shared the “key ingredients” that helped keep their relationship intact while also addressing potential future collaborations, both in the restaurant and entertainment industries. .
“It was a lot of pressure,” Tom recently admitted to BravoTV.com. “But we don’t think about it like that. Those relationships have to be there. Some have walked. I don’t think we’re more durable or anything like that.
Although Sandoval and Ariana were targeted with rumors that they were in an open relationship Pump Rules season 10, Ariana does not know where they come from.
“I don’t know what gives, but we are in a monogamous relationship,” she confirmed.
As for what has kept them together for so many years, Tom says he and Ariana have “good banter” and “communication” and enjoy “adventures together”. Ariana also said “being friends first” is important.
“Because when you’re friends with someone other than being in a relationship with them — or before you’re in a relationship with them — you really get to know that person on a level that’s not just ‘I think they’re hot. Do they think I’m hot?’ I think that level of connection is very important,” he explained.
According to Ariana, there are many things that attract Sandoval, including his humor and enthusiasm.
“I thought Tom was really funny,” she said. “And I love the way he does everything he does. Even when Tom sings karaoke, he’s full of it!
Meanwhile, Sandoval likes Ariana’s “smartness.”

While taking questions from fans for Bravo.com, Ariana stated that Sandoval was listed as “Tom Sandoval Villa Blanca” on the phone, which is a nod to his former workplace. Sandoval said Ariana was on the phone twice, as “Ariana Madix” and “Ariana Villa Blanca.”
Then, after Ariana denied that she and Sandoval had ever been intimate Pump Rules was in, this couple asked if they ever team up in a restaurant or bar.
“It must be something open,” replied Tom. “It only took me a few minutes after Schwartz & Sandy’s, and he worked at the sandwich shop [with Katie Maloney].”
“People expect things to happen very quickly on TV, but in real life, things take time! Maybe we’ll do it one day, but it’s definitely going to be years,” added Ariana.
And about a potential collaboration between Ariana and his band, Tom Sandoval & Most Extra, Sandoval said that while nothing is official yet, he’s “definitely going down to do her!”
“Maybe one day I’ll come and do a song or two with the band, but the commitment is, if we’re both involved, nobody can eat dog and stuff!” Ariana teased.
