Tom Sandoval claims he broke up with Ariana Madix the week before he caught someone having a relationship with that Vanderpump Rules star and longtime friend, Rachel Lewis.

Since news of his and Raquel’s relationship broke in early March, Sandoval has struggled with “dark thoughts” as people continue to discuss the matter.

Sandoval then addressed the distance between him and Ariana in the months before the split.
“It’s been discussed, but it’s not understood. Our communication is not good. I think it’s our fault,” said Sandoval, via TooFab.
According to Sandoval, he began to “feel trapped” in his relationship with Ariana as he approached his 40th birthday and compared the dynamic to a “very bleak” situation.

Despite Ariana’s threats, Sandoval said he dumped her on Valentine’s Day and plans to keep the news to himself until he can “find a way to navigate this” in a way that will help her.
According to Sandoval, Ariana is “very upset” and “joy” people.
