Speak out. Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval released a statement after the relationship with Rachel Lewis and the subsequent split from Ariana Madix made headlines.
“Hey, I understand the anger and disappointment towards me, but please leave Schwartz, friends and family out of this situation … Schwartz specifically only knows about this, and of course he does not allow my actions. This is very personal,” wrote Sandoval, 39 , via Instagram, Saturday, March 4.
He owns Schwartz & Sandy’s Lounge, a Los Angeles bar, with his friends Pump Rules star Tom Schwartz. His business has been inundated with bad reviews, to the point where Yelp temporarily paused writing because they were coming in as spam.
Sandoval asked his fans to remember that he’s not the only one investing in the restaurant. “Also, Schwartz & Sandy’s may have my name, but there are also 3 other partners and 20 employees, who mainly depend on the restaurant for income for him and his family. Like TomTom, I am a small part of something bigger,” he said. Please be mad at me and not him. He did nothing wrong.”
He apologized to his colleagues and stated that he was on leave. “I’m sorry that my partners, Greg, Brett, and Schwartz and employees had to suffer because of my actions,” he said. “I will step back and take a break out of respect for my employees and partners.”
As for everything else that needs to be addressed – like cheating on Madix’s long-term boyfriend with Leviss, 28 – Sandoval is not quite ready for that.
“It took me a while to get over everything else,” he said. “Sorry for everything.”
Us Weekly confirmed on Friday that Sandoval and Madix, 37, ended their nine-year relationship because he had an affair with Leviss. The two previously denied “open relationship” rumors last month.
Schwartz — who also owns TomTom restaurant and bar with Sandoval — also has a controversial history with Leviss. The two are hooked up Pump Rules his girlfriend Scheana Shay‘s August 2022 wedding for Brock Daviessix months after Schwartz separated from his wife Katie Maloney.
