Despite the movie Top Gun: Maverick not liked to win any award, it is still strange that Tom Cruise did not attend the Academy Awards earlier this month.
There are many theories about it why the 60-Year steered from the ceremony, but the consensus seems that Cruise would not like to be the butt of the jokes aimed at him by the host Jimmy Kimmel.
Tom’s Scientology, short stature, and perfectionist approach to acting could all be discussed in Kimmel’s monologue.
But insiders say Cruise’s favorite topic is his relationship — or lack thereof — with his youngest daughter.

No one knows when Tom last saw Suri, but we do know that his involvement in the girl’s life was minimal.
Today, Suri – the product of Tom’s short marriage to Katie Holmes – is 16 and begins the process of looking at colleges in preparation for graduating high school next year.
But according to a new report from Page Six, Tom will not be participating in this important rite.

The outlet reported that Cruise “hasn’t seen the 16-year-old in a long time and it’s not a part of his life.”
Cruise has not spoken publicly about Suri’s condition since 2013, when she was fired due to a lawsuit against Bauer Media Group.
“Listen, when there’s a divorce … things change. It’s not an ideal scene. It’s not an ideal situation,” he told his lawyer when asked if it was true that he had never seen his daughter in the past year.

Asked if Holmes had left him “in part to protect Suri from Scientology,” Tom replied, “That’s one of the claims, yes.”
An insider confirmed to Page Six that Cruise’s devotion to Scientology was the main reason for firing Suri.
Suri and her mother have been labeled “suppressive people” by Church leaders because of their opposition to their teachings.

“It’s a loss, it’s a problem, it’s a problem,” a new source told Page Six. “He must be really brainwashed.”
“I believe the main plan was to wait until Suri was older so they could lure her into Scientology and away from her mother,” said actress and Scientologist Leah Remini.
In 2018, it was reported that Cruise had not seen Suri for five years.

While the reports are yet to be confirmed, it seems clear that the actor plays a minimal role in his daughter’s life.
And it doesn’t look like that’s going to change anytime soon.
