Todd & Julie Chrisley Requests For Bail DENIED; Couple Must Report to Prison Next Week!

It looks like there’s another legal setback for ousted reality stars Todd and Julie Chrisley this week.

If you have followed the collapse in Chrisley knows best couple, then learned that Todd and Julie were convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud charges last year.

Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, and Julie was sentenced to seven years.

In a rare public statement on the matter, Chrisley called the sentence excessive, but said he was prepared to do the time.

However, the couple’s recent legal activity tells a different story.

According to a new report from FOX5 News Atlanta (via The Ashley’s Reality Roundup ) the Chrisleys made a last-ditch effort to avoid prison this week, but the effort was futile.

First, lawyers for Todd and Julie asked for the couple to be released on bail while they appeal their sentences.

Todd and Julie Chrisley GUILTY. As a result, he will spend many years in prison.

Predictably, the request was denied.

Shortly thereafter, Chrisley’s legal team requested that the start date of his sentence be delayed.

The request also rejected, and Todd and Julie will be expected to report to their respective facilities on January 17.

Todd Chrisley does not appear to be an ethical individual. That’s just our opinion, of course.

Both Chrisley will serve their sentences in Florida, with Todd doing time at the Federal Prison Camp (FPC) Pensacola.

Julie will spend about two hours at the Federal Correctional Institute (FCI) Marianna SCP.

Both have minimal security facilities.

Todd and Julie will not be allowed to visit each other while in prison, but will be allowed to communicate through other means.

“An inmate may be allowed to communicate with an inmate confined in a criminal institution or other correctional institution if the other inmate is a member of the immediate family, or as a party or witness in a legal action in which both inmates are involved,” the representative for the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) told Life & Style.

After his release (which won’t be long), Chrisley will be forced into a year’s probation and ordered to pay more than $17 million in restitution to the banks he defrauded.

According to court documents seen by The Ashley, the initial payment will be set at $1,000 per month.

At that rate, it will take some time for Chrisley to pay for his sacrifice.

But hey, by then, these two would be pretty used to sitting around and counting down the days.

We will have more updates on this developing story as new information becomes available.
