Todd Chrisley ready for close-up.
While waiting to report to prison together with his wife Julie on January 17 to begin serving the sentence for bank fraud and tax evasion, the Chrisley knows best star just revealed that he will give one, and only one, sit-down interview. The honor will be passed down to his son, Chase Chrisley.
In the latest episode of his podcast, Chrisley AdmittedTodd talks to Chase about the interview and says he’ll answer “all the tough questions.”
“I’m looking forward to the interview, not because it’s going to be a softball interview,” he told Chase. “You have said, ‘Am I allowed to ask all the hard questions?’ And I said, ‘You can ask me anything. I’m your father.'”
Todd claims he is ready and willing to be transparent and “nothing can be limited” because Chase is more “able” to conduct interviews.
“You’re going to do an interview with me next week,” Told said. “Nothing is forbidden. There is no bar interview.”
Todd clarified, saying that he found no discomfort in revealing his truth.
“It’s not uncomfortable for us because we know the truth,” he said. “Other people want to interview [me] can say, ‘I know this is probably an uncomfortable question’ – no, we are good with the truth. The truth is not pleasant for us.
Later in the podcast, Todd also took some time to talk about the seemingly never-ending rumors that he was gay and had a one-year affair with a former family business associate, Mark it Braddock.
Mark gave Todd and Julie State’s evidence and helped the prosecution secure a guilty verdict regarding the Chrisleys’ crimes. She also claimed that she gave Todd money to pay off an anonymous extortionist who threatened to expose their relationship.
However, what surprised Todd the most about the allegations was that of all the partners he could have had sex with, people singled out Mark, calling him a “frog” and “someone who looks like a thumb.”
“What insults me the most is that, of all these 54 years, for me to finally be accused by someone, it will be someone who looks like Mark Braddock,” Todd said.
At Chrisley knows best the patriarch further explained to Chase, “Let me tell you something. I know that if you had sex with me, it would [make] you are a roofer. I get that. A lot of things have been told to your father.”
Todd went on to admit, “That’s one of the most insulting things. To say I couldn’t pull off anything better than that…
Todd’s exclusive interview with Chase will reportedly take place a few weeks later, before Todd and Julie report to Florida state prison, where Todd will serve 12 years and Julie will serve seven years, honorably.
