Todd Chrisleyex-husband Teresa Terry alleged terror and violence in a previous marriage. At Chrisley knows best star and his current wife, Julienow serving a prison sentence after being convicted of fraud.
The pair are scheduled to enter January 17, in two separate prisons. Todd will reportedly face 12 years while Julie is 7, and they will be allowed to communicate while in prison.
The divorce documents are taken by RadarTodd’s first wife, Teresa – mother of Kyle and Lindsay – alleged terror and violence ahead. The exes got married in 1990 when he was 21 and she was 19.
About four years later, according to Teresa, the relationship turned acrimonious because of Todd’s alleged control.
“He likes to be in control of his environment,” Teresa said. “I have two small children [but at home] everything must be picture-perfect; your hair must be done, and you must be dressed to the 10s… [I] tired of being corrected.”
Terry reportedly filed a “family violence restraining order” against Todd, stating that he had previously “used a knife to threaten to kill her,” a few days after he “tore all her clothes, including her underwear, off her body and battered her. He used his closed fists.”
according to RadarTodd was later ordered to keep 1,000 feet between himself and Teresa, who quickly filed for divorce, claiming she “feared for her life” and needed an injunction to prevent him from “harassing, destroying, [or] harming themselves or children.
Teresa also said she was having an affair with her current wife, Julie, because her ex gave her the dates and locations she wanted.
Todd responded that he was “reluctantly and emphatically denying it.” [treating Teresa] cruel,” and she gets joint custody of the children.
“You can’t imagine how revengeful it is,” Teresa said.
