Wait – TJ Holmes have been shopping for Amy Robach!?
Did you see this coming? apparently DailyMail.com spotted TJ there perusing the gemstones David Yurman and Tiffany & Co. ahead of Amy’s 50th birthday celebration (which is today, Monday, by the way!). Yes, he was actually looking for a ring and even bought one even though he wasn’t working Good morning America — so there’s a wedding in the works?

The former band GMA3 The host decided on not exactly an engagement ring, but the next step down from one. She bought an 18-karat gold Unity Cable ring for $650 in downtown Manhattan, a promise ring from her bridal/wedding collection. She then went to Tiffany’s and bought a matching gold chain. 45-year-old then put the ring on the chain to see how ‘d look and has a big smile on his face, definitely satisfied with what he bought for the lady!
The necklace is just a placeholder because the couple has yet to finalize their divorce from their partner. It’s a real possibility we could see a real engagement ring from TJ and Amy in the near future, though! Especially if he’s got a promise ring. What is the promise? In order not to be caught in a cheating scandal at work and fired? Both are there, done!
The explosive relationship of the two hosts quickly became a whirlwind in the media, and both separated from their partners, but despite everything, they are still going strong. A friend of the couple told the outlet:
“TJ and Amy are more in love than ever.”
But this love doesn’t come all sunshine and roses. Apparently they are currently under stress because they are unemployed and waiting for a legal separation. Another friend of the couple told the outlet:
“It is proof that they are committed to each other that they have weathered this storm after their secret love affair was revealed, they were suspended. GMA3 and then wait an agonizing week as ABC kept people in limbo about their future. But don’t forget that TJ and Amy were friends before they were dating. Their relationship started with a very strong bond – until now – it only became more.
From an industry perspective, insiders say we can’t be sure what the future holds for their careers — and it could be a huge strain on their relationship:
“What’s next for TJ and Amy professionally right now is hard to say. The chemistry on the air will probably be amplified and the audience will love them. But there’s still a lot of baggage there — especially for them.
Still a lot of baggage, but especially for him? Looks like the only luggage I’m worried about now is my robin’s egg blue Tiffany bag!
