Tinubu’s campaign director, Naja’atu Mohammed, sacked over incompetence – APC PCC

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Asiwaju/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) on Tuesday said Naja’atu Mohammed, the former chief director of the civil society organization, was sacked for incompetence and leaking important information.

Mahmud Jega, Public Affairs Adviser, Tinubu Media Office, said this in a statement in Abuja.

Mr Jega described Ms Mohammed’s resignation as hasty and preemptive after the campaign council discovered she had leaked sensitive information to opposition political parties.

He charged APC supporters to ignore the antics of political jobbers like Ms Mohammed and concentrate on delivering the Tinubu-Shettima presidential ticket in the coming presidential election.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Ms Mohammed, who claimed to have resigned from his post on Saturdayalso stated that Mr. Tinubu is suffering from dementia.

“The Asiwaju/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council welcomes the immediate resignation of Hajiya Naja’atu Mohammed from his position as Director of Civil Society Organisations.

“This was before he was sacked for incompetence, infighting and after he was found to be a mole planted in the winning campaign council to leak sensitive information to desperate opponents,” Mr Jega said.

He said that Ms Mohammed had succeeded in deceiving the gullible public by claiming that she was resigning, when her sack of letters had arrived on her desk.

He added that he is desperate, fact-free, utterances machination-filled and illusion since his sack of the PCC has proven beyond doubt that he is not worthy to serve in the first place, until it is discovered that he is actually a mole.

“Not a medical doctor, but whose profession for the past three decades has been political labor and expert name-dropping.

“They published a pseudo-medical report on our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, after a brief meeting in London.

“Even the indigenous doctors’ association will throw him out for cheating and reaching medical conclusions without tests,” Mr Jega said.

He added that contrary to Ms Mohammed’s statement; Mr. Tinubu has run the most promising campaign schedule of any presidential candidate.

According to Mr. Jega, Mr. Tinubu’s stamina has taken him to many parts of the country; with an almost non-stop schedule of political rallies, town hall meetings with business and cultural stakeholders.

In his statement that Mr. Tinubu has no plans for the North, Mr. Jega said “Hajiya Naja’atu Mohammed claimed that when he asked Asiwaju what his plans were for the North, he replied that he had none, this is strange and a question of integrity. about women and their stories .”

He said that Mr. Tinubu has opened an action plan for the whole country, which the problem of bedeviling the North has not received full attention.

The APC PCC General Adviser recalled that Mr. Tinubu also attended the Arewa Summit in 2022 where he unveiled and explained his plan and program of action.

“As conclusive proof of his unstable and untrustworthy character. Naja’atu said in his earlier resignation letter that he will leave the party politics because the political party has no ideological difference and his values and beliefs are not aligned with the party politics.

“Within a day, pictures emerged in the media showing him meeting with Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and expressing his support for him,” he said.

He added that Nigerians should think about what values and beliefs they have apart from opportunism, selfishness and greed.

“We are not surprised that he came out so dramatically, after he went on television to humiliate our party and President Muhammadu Buhari, only a mole can act like that.

“We urge our supporters across the country to ignore the antics of this political soldier of fortune and concentrate on the project of sending the Tinubu/Shettima ticket to the polls in barely a month from now,” Mr. Jega said.
