The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tinubu ballthere he took a campaign to Ondo State, where he urged people to give votes to him for a better Nigeria.
Mr. Tinubu, at a rally held at the MKO Abiola Democracy Park in Akure, was received by Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and many party leaders and supporters.
He was first received at the Akure airport by the APC governor led by Mr. Akeredolu and party leaders in the South West.
In his speech at the rally, Mr. Tinubu said he would abolish electricity bills if he becomes president in February.
He also said that Nigerians will suffer from hunger if they vote for the Labor Party candidate, Peter Obi.
He said the PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has nothing to do but sell the country’s critical assets to the highest bidder and squander funds.
“Ondo is known as a progressive state, followed by other states like Ogun, Oyo and I appreciate progressive governors. This coming election is ours, it is a vote of inheritance. It is a vote of three to one. Do not lose your PVC, your PVC is your right,” he said.
“Our rally today is a signal of our renewed hope for Nigeria, that February 25, you will go and make a wise decision, you will vote massively for me, I am very confident and very confident that you will vote for APC and that is why .I am very happy.

“I will win this election. My heart is unable, unwilling to build a better nation. Instead, they prefer to sell your birthright to the highest bidder. My heart’s wisdom and actions are second to none.
“Obi had the opportunity to show his progressiveness when he was the governor of Anambra State, all he could do was boast that he saved money when he was the Governor of Anambra State.
“My people, you cannot entrust your future and your nation to Atiku and Obi. What did Atiku bring to Nigeria?
“He and my friends, Shettima, are ready to renew hope through empowerment for all of you, If you give me the mandate as promised, I will work hard, put money in my pocket.

“I like what Governor Akeredolu is doing in Ondo State. He has improved the infrastructure status of Ondo State. We will work with Ondo State to become an economic hub. We will develop Ondo Deep Sea Port. We will develop uninterrupted energy.
“We will do more to develop Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole. We are a peaceful and prosperous people. Our education sector will get priority in our government.
“No child of the poor will be left behind. If you don’t have the money, we’ll get you a student loan so you can go to school. You’ll learn, you’ll be an expert.”

Earlier, Mr. Akeredolu said Ondo State and the entire South-west region will massively support the Tinubu/Shettima ticket.
Also speaking, the Chairman of APC in Ondo State, Ade Adetimehin, assured that party leaders from all over the country are united to send for Mr. Tinubu to come next month.
The meeting was also attended by Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje; the governor as well as the National Secretary of APC, Iyiola Omisore; and many other party leaders in the southwest.
Mr. Obi earlier scolded Mr. Tinubu about his claim that he has become the president.
While addressing a crowd in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, the Labor Party candidate said it is time for Nigerian youths to take back Nigeria.
“It is the turn of Nigerian youths and women to take back this country,” he said.
“Your children are miserable. We have children who have gone to school and have not been able to find a job for years and some say it is their turn, whose turn is it? Now it’s your turn to retire.
“Let the people who want to be president come here because I come here and talk to you, not through a spokesperson. You don’t campaign anywhere in the world through a spokesperson, you go in person.
“When you’re looking for a job, you’re looking for a job right away, that’s why I’m here.”
