Fans asked him if the show was “scripted”, as some viewers suspected. Tiffany surprised her followers with the frankness and honesty of her answers.
Recently, Tiffany Franco took to Instagram to hold a Q&A session with her fans and followers.
For years, fans have insisted that it is 90 Day Engagement is “scripted,” pointing to claims that some bitter alums have made. In addition, the skeptics stated that they did not believe that real people could have dramatic lives.
So, of course, one follower asked Tiffany, outright, if this was true. Of course, most didn’t expect him to answer.
“No,” replied Tiffany. There’s a lot to say about their responses, but let’s take a look at all of their responses.
“But,” he continued, “he gave me an idea of what the topic was [bring] up.”
Tiffany explains that the demand from the production can then “cover what needs to be shown on the show.”
First, the “no” is important. Some alumni simply claim that the show is “scripted,” especially if it doesn’t appeal to fans.
However, as has been reported for years, 90 Day Engagement do not use scripts. If they do, and we know about it, we will just so excited to report. That would be a big scandal!
In fact, franchises rely on three main tools to turn people’s lives into entertainment.
The first is casting. This is not a scientific survey of random international couples. It’s a reality series.
That means the producers look to cast people with a clear story to tell. The age gap, the obvious agenda, and the glaring personality issues can turn viewers off.
Naturally, he also made some people like him. Performance always needs balance. They cast potential recurring villains, potential fan-favorites, and many couples with potential for both drama and closure.
The second tool is what Tiffany mentioned – production intervention.
Now, most of the time, as described. Producers will ask cast members to touch on certain topics, things they may have discussed in private. They can’t just make a movie while eating breakfast and call it a day.
There are extreme examples when production crosses the line. Asking questions or suggesting topics is one thing. But suggesting that fellow cast members cause trouble on purpose (like David’s friend asking for a massage) is a step too far.
Third, the show uses editing to do more than just turn months of footage into several episodes of entertainment.
Editing, from music choices to what viewers do and don’t show, can skew how people see performers.
One example? If a cast member cries several times during a stressful shoot, creative editing can make it appear as if they are “always” crying. And editing can also hide the causes of tears that are quite reasonable.
Meanwhile, Tiffany has dropped some not-so-subtle hints that she and Dan have done.
(You might have missed this, because TikTok is a hellish app where users can’t control what videos they watch – at least, if the app’s hellish algorithm allows it)
But between apparently to frame herself as a clown for thinking that her new man is “different” and giving advice, Tiffany seems like she is newly single.
They haven’t confirmed this yet, of course. On TikTok or on, for example, social media applications for adults.
Hopefully they will update fans on what went wrong.
