TickrMeter is installed as a “stock ticker for your desk.” But more importantly for this audience, it also tracks the price of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other top cryptocurrencies.
In this exclusive review, the Bitcoinist team goes hands-on with the latest retail version of TickrMeter. Is it worth the price you’ll pay to pay closer attention to asset prices?
TickrMeter Bitcoin & Crypto Price Ticker Review

What is TickrMeter?
TickrMeter is a digital price ticker for your desk, table, nightstand, or wherever you see it most. Using the meter.io ticker app, device owners can set it up to track the price of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and individual stocks like Tesla or Microsoft. More than 500 different cryptocurrencies can be selected according to the company’s website, plus a list of stocks from Nasdaq.
Device Size & Display
At about 4 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall, the little black device leaves almost no footprint and thanks to the e-paper display that stands out in the background it doesn’t matter where you are. E-paper displays are used in digital readers like Kindles, praised for their ease of reading and less distracting light.
However, the lack of light can be both a pro and a con. For nightstand applications, paper displays are invisible in total darkness. The red or green LED can be turned on or off, and the brightness can be adjusted. But unfortunately it is not bright enough to make the paper display readable in the middle of the night.

Features: Price tracking, Playlists, and more
Small complaint, TickrMeter does what it was designed to do and does it well. In the application, another customization is available that allows the user to set how often price tracking updates. Intervals range from one minute to once per day. It also allows users to track earnings from user-defined average purchase prices or create custom alerts when prices pass above or below certain levels.
Additional unique features include daisy chaining several of these devices together by stacking them on top of each other, essentially creating a complete watchlist of TickrMeters. So, the device can be purchased as a single, two-pack, three-pack, or six-pack. Up to ten can be stacked in one chain. With just one device, there is also a way to create a playlist that cycles through a custom selection of random ticker symbols, in order, or based on the day’s winners or losers.

Specifications & How to Buy
The TickrMeter connects via WiFi and has a rechargeable battery that can be recharged via the supplied USB cable or left on at any time. Another benefit of the e-paper display is that it uses very little power to leave the operation.
TickrMeter started as a successful IndieGogo campaign in late 2021 but has now been brought to retail. Recently, TickrMeter appeared on the Danish version of the hit TV show Shark Tank and eventually received investment from successful e-commerce entrepreneur Jesper Buch and venture capitalist Christian Arnstedt.
Thanks to a segment on Shark Tank, TickrMeter is currently on sale for $85 per device. Bitcoinist bought the device for unbiased review purposes. Delivery takes less than a week from the time of purchase. TickrMeter is highly recommended from the Bitconist team and is the perfect sidekick for traders, investors, or just crypto enthusiasts.
I love my new love @TickrM ticker. Going on the nightstand (yes, I like to check prices at midnight too) pic.twitter.com/y8KRD1zwaa
