South African producer Thuto Moloi, aka Thuto the Human, has experienced what he calls “The most important moment” of his career.
This talented DJ and Producer was announced as the winner of the Remy Martin Producer Season 2 contest and came out at a big ceremony in Dubai this week.
Thuto the Human survived the intense boot camp and won the 3-way battle in Joburg.
As part of the winning package, the “Ke Dipatjie” hitmaker will work with Emirati musician Born Freek and international DJ duo Major league DJZ on a mixtape in the UAE.
Alastair Coombe, head of digital marketing and E-commerce for Remy Martin, stated that the brand does not expect any profit from Thuto in the future, but only wants to see them use the platform provided to them to excel.
“You don’t expect to come back or anything else. I think just to get men out there, and see them grow and access support and public tools at their disposal, That’s the hope,” he said.
A team of creative community leaders & collaborators welcomes artists and producers to Dubai on an exclusive yacht experience hosted by Remy Martin with the support of Dubai Tourism represented by Prince Tonye Princewill Tjt, Guests include local creatives, Media personalities & influencers from Africa.
Major League DJz and Thuto the Human are expected to host half-day sessions in the coming days with local superstars like Freek, Abri, and other entertainers.
