Lala Kent reacted to the recent news of Jax Taylor and publicist Lori Krebs‘ controversial romance on Wednesday’s episode of her podcast.
As Brittany Cartwright, 37, broke her silence with a short statement on her Instagram Story, the 35-year-old cast member of The Valley slammed the couple as “bottom feeders,” describing their decision to engage in a relationship after working alongside one another, and Brittany, for more than a decade as “absolutely [disgusting].”
“If you guys remember, there was a rumor like two, two and a half years ago that Jax and this other person, her name’s Lori, were hooking up. And, you know, no one thought anything of it, moved on,” Lala began on the July 15 episode of Untraditionally Lala, via Vanderpod Recaps on Instagram, seemingly citing an April 2024 report that claimed Brittany had unfollowed Lori amid an alleged romance between her and Jax.
Continuing on, after noting that she wouldn’t share “the details of what went on,” Lala said she would let Brittany speak for herself.
“Brittany is one of my dearest friends, and I want her to talk about it,” she stated.
That said, Lala did have her own opinion about the situation.
“These are two bottom feeders. I’m absolutely disgusted,” she declared. “I cannot believe that people move this way in life.”
Earlier this week, after photos of Jax and Lori getting cozy in Mexico as they celebrated his 47th birthday hit the web, Lala reached out to Brittany, who allegedly fired the publicist soon after, and invited her to Las Vegas.
“I felt the need to text Brittany and say, ‘Hey, I got invited to Vegas for less than 24 hours tomorrow. And if you want to come, I would like to get you out of Los Angeles and away from all the sh*t.’ And she texts back and said, ‘I think that would be really good for me.’ I was like, ‘Oh, sh*t, we’re doing it,’” Lala revealed.
As for Brittany, she posted a message to her fans and followers on Thursday, saying, “For the record- I have not given a single quote or statement to anyone. I will speak my truth when I’m ready.”
While Brittany has not yet addressed Jax and Lori’s relationship directly, an insider told PEOPLE on Tuesday that she was “very upset.”
“Brittany is very upset about the photos but isn’t surprised,” the source claimed. “She could tell their relationship was more than client-rep.”
